In your presence is fullness of joy and at your right hand are pleasures for evermore.
Delight yourself in the Lord.

Westward Ho

Jacob has a unit in social studies where they travel the Oregon trail leaving from Independence Mo. They have to decide on supplies to take and then leave behind for lightening the weight as they cross swollen rivers, deserts, rough plains. They choose their families and are dealt "fate" cards where things happen to them and they have to learn to cope. Some of them make it and some don't, just like it really happened. They also earn points to help them on their journey. Part of that included Jacob making a sod house out of dirt, sticks, and sod, and corn fritters which he looked up on the web and fried up to serve to his class. It's a fun project that all the kids have done, one they remember. I just hope he makes it all the way! :)

What fun! I always liked that game. Hope he makes it to the end. How are you feeling? Getting better fast I hope. We found all the eggs from the bunny this morning. Camron has been trying to weasel his way into one more piece of candy. I said one, he thought he was going to eat his chocolate bunny!

Have a Happy Easter!

Thanks, I'm better everyday, will have to make myself go slow. We ate SO MUCH candy today! Some friends brought lunch, nice, so I didn't have to cook! Everyone went to church but me, but had some time to myself to praise God for his awesome son! Hope you had a great day too.
