What do you do when cabin fever sets in? Go out and play! We've been to City Park lately enjoying the winter. Jacob took a friend and they got to learn how to snow shoe. Throwing snowballs is easier in snowshoes. We also got to checkout some icefishing tents complete with heaters and comfy seats, you could live in these if you had a tv and a fridge...
Today we went to the park to iceskate. There were some other families there that come out regularly to play hockey. Reminded us of all the broom hockey we used to play in our boots at Mercer. They had an extra stick and invited Jacob to play with them. It was fun, but it sure looks a lot easier on tv than it actually is to play! We have even more respect now for the US team playing in the Olympics. He did take Dad though at the net... We think we'll be back to play some more. Any one who wants to come along is welcome! I think we'll go back next week while the ice is fine...
